Namaste! A little about me. My name is Orit - "Or" in Hebrew means light so I thought I could spread some light to all that want to receive it. I have worked in the corporate world for 20 years. About 10 years ago, my father became terminally ill, and I thought.. why not yoga, to move my body and most importantly, calm my mind from the anxiety and stress. I walked into a local yoga studio, and for the first time in my life, for 1 hour, I had peace of mind, calm and tranquility. I very quickly understood the magic of yoga.
10 years ago, I immersed myself in yoga, practicing almost daily and experimenting with different master teachers and styles of Yoga but I plateaued and realized that I needed to learn much more than the Asanas (postures). I decided it was time to get properly trained and I completed my 200 hour Yoga Certification with Yoga Alliance at t
10 years ago, I immersed myself in yoga, practicing almost daily and experimenting with different master teachers and styles of Yoga but I plateaued and realized that I needed to learn much more than the Asanas (postures). I decided it was time to get properly trained and I completed my 200 hour Yoga Certification with Yoga Alliance at the most magical school Zazyoga in Bali, Indonesia. My training was intense and focused on Vinyasa, the benefits, aliment and contraindications of asanas, different meditation practices from yoga nidra to dancing mediations, but what became my true passion is Pranayama (breath) and how learning the different techniques can transform your life, reduce disease caused by stress, anxiety and depression, detoxify and provide clarity for a longer and more vital life.
My prime focus is that no matter what level you are the most beautiful unique expression of yourself. Everyone was born with a individually crafted body, my work is to help you find the best expression of your unique body and self. More importantly, I like to teach my students that the physical practice is just a tool to quiet the mind
